. Focusing on urban environments, participating artists choose a city street as their research subject
. and creative partner. Artists engage concepts of city planning, residential space, architecture, daily
. life, cultural history, text, sound and other non-material elements in a cross-disciplinary exploration of
. past, future and the latent possibilities of the present, through the lens of a contemporary art exhibition.

. The exhibition features artists beyond the bounds of the normalized definition of "contemporary artist."
. Instead, it includes philosophers, writers, architects, urban planners, musicians, hydraulic and electrical
. engineers, botanists and even local residential committees. Through intensive interaction between the
. realms of social science and art, disciplinary boundaries are broken to discover new energy, new
. understandings and new creative partners.

. Besides the artworks themselves, the exhibition also includes the notes, drafts, sound recordings and
. other archival materials from the artists. The exhibition thus emphasizes the development process of the
. artworks and the new possibilities of planning for local communities.

. 形态等角度出发，通过开放性的思维与想像，跨越领域的探索与合作，将过去与未来，已经流逝的和正在
. 发生的各种可能性以当代艺术展览的方式呈现。

. 该项目的艺术家不仅仅是狭义理解上的“当代艺术家”，同时包括哲学，文学、建筑设计、城市规划、音乐、
. 水电工程、植物学等专业人士，甚至某街道的居委会。通过艺术和社会科学等领域相互碰撞，打破行业的
. 局限，激发创造的动力，延伸对某一“对象”发散性思维和进一步的研讨。

. 除却参与该项目艺术家的艺术作品外， 展览也包括笔记、手稿、录音和其他各种文献纪录资料。除却艺术
. 展览的呈现方式之外，本项目更加注重项目的发展过程并努力寻求在当地街区实施计划的可能。
